Founder and Managing Partner, Hetz Ventures

Judah Taub is the founder and managing partner of Hetz Ventures, one of Israel’s leading early-stage venture capital firms specializing in cybersecurity, data and AI infrastructure. Since its founding in 2018, Hetz has grown to nearly $500 million under management and built a portfolio representing over $1 billion in exit value, including acquisitions by SentinelOne, Armis, and Intel. The firm takes a thematic approach to seed-stage investing, focusing particularly on AI infrastructure and applications. It partners with technical founders from day zero and backs category-defining technologies built from Israel to global markets.

Judah works extensively with AI startups across various sectors and lectures at institutions and leading business schools including Wharton, Yale, and Harvard Business School, where he speaks on creative thinking, problem-solving, and the evolving landscape of AI-driven innovation. He is the author of How to Move Up When the Only Way Is Down: Lessons from Artificial Intelligence for Overcoming Your Local Maximum (October 2024), which explores how humans can achieve better decision-making by learning from how AI overcomes limitations and constraints.
